HOW TO MAKE VEGETABLE MAGGI – STEP BY STEP RECIPE WITH PHOTOS

  1. Boil the Maggi Noodles
  • Take one litre of water in a pan and one teaspoon of sunflower oil or refined oil. Allow the water to come to a full boil.
  • Next, add the Maggi Noodles as per the quantity you need to make. Here, I am making the vegetable noodles for two person hence have taken two cubes of the Maggi noodles.
  • Boil the noodles for few minutes till the noodles are just cooked. Strain the noodles and discard the water. Keep it aside.

    2. Heating the Oil

    • Heat one tablespoon of sunflower oil or any refined oil in a cooking pan or wok.
    • When the oil is hot, temper the oil with finely chopped garlic, ginger and green chillies. Fry for few minutes till the raw smell of ginger and garlic is gone.

    3. Sauté the Vegetables

    • Take one medium size onion and roughly chop it. Fry the onion till the raw smell of the onion is gone and it changes color.
    • Next, add the vegetables of your choice and quantity. Here, I have taken carrot, French beans, green capsicum, red bell pepper and green peas. Here, I have used frozen green peas hence added it after frying the other vegetables for few minutes.
    • Next, add salt, turmeric powder and black pepper powder and fry the vegetables with these spices for a minute or two.
    • Then cover the pan with a lid. The vegetables will release water and get cooked in its own juices.

    4. Adding the Spices and Noodles

    • When the vegetables are sauteed, add one or two sachets of the Maggi tastemaker. I prefer medium spice level hence added only one sachet of the tastemaker.
    • Next, add one teaspoon of chat masala powder, half tablespoon of ghee or clarified butter.
    • Add the boiled Maggi noodles, handful of fried peanuts and tomato ketchup. Toss everything together. Keep the gas flame at low while tossing and mixing the vegetables and maggi noodles.
    • Lastly garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Very tasty , fulfilling and vegetable loaded Masala Maggi Noodles is ready. Enjoy!!!
