GREEN CHUTNEY is prepared with fresh coriander leaves, mint leaves and few herbs and spices which makes it a very flavourful and aromatic spread for the sandwiches. This green chutney is also commonly called “dhania pudina chutney”. Not only this is used in making sandwiches, Green Chutney is also served as a dip with Samosa, Dhokla, Chilla or Pakoda etc. etc.. Green Chutney aids in the digestion of the food and it can be also used sometimes as a salad dressing. Interesting isn’t it? This recipe of Green Chutney is a very valuable addition to your kitchen.
GREEN CHUTNEY FOR SANDWICHES (STEP BY STEP RECIPE)
- Take a grinder jar and add the below mentioned ingredients one by one :
- 1/4th cup of Coriander leaves
- 1/4th cup of Mint Leaves
- 1 inch Ginger, roughly chopped
- 1 to 2 cloves of Garlic
- 2 to 3 Green Chillies or as per taste, chopped
- 1/2 tsp of Salt
- 1/4th tsp of Black Salt
- 1/4th tsp of Chat Masala
- 1 tsp of Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp of roasted Peanuts
- 1/2 cup of Water
2. Blend all these ingredients into a smooth paste and the Green Chutney for the sandwiches is ready.
